I shop the markets every single day – each morning (way before sunrise!).

 

 

 

 

In my self-employed life, I often labor way past midnight and awaken in the very early dawn.  Just like you, my eyes open on some mornings and I realize that sooner or later (and probably sooner!) I am going to have to get out of my oh-so-comfortable bed and get on with another day.  Just like you, I sometimes think, I don’t know how I’m going to do it today.  I am so tired.

 

For several days, I had been fighting the germs threatening to invade my body and sap my physical strength.  Some people said I was catching a cold.  I wasn’t catching anything; I was resisting the negativity that so easily overtakes us, when and if we allow it. 

 

Whenever symptoms show up on my body, I start looking for the questions they have come to ask.  Because the germs focused on my throat, I spent a good deal of my quiet time pondering several questions: What am I saying?  How am I using my voice?  What am I putting in my mouth that does not need to be there?  What is coming out of my mouth that is unnecessary and non-productive?
